REMOVAL (Continued)

3. Remove 1-2-3 left exhaust manifold (19).

a. Remove self-locking nut (24), screw (25) and clamp assembly (26) at manifold (19).

Discard self-locking nut.

b. Remove twelve self-locking nuts (27) from exhaust manifold (19) at cylinders 1-2-3 left.

Discard self-locking nuts.

c.

Remove exhaust manifold (19) and three gaskets (28).

Discard gaskets.

NOTE

Remove pipe plugs only if required. Typically exhaust plugs are very

difficult to remove.

4. Remove and discard three pipe plugs (29) from exhaust manifold (19).
