General Safety Instructions
Do not perform this procedure near fire, flames,
or sparks.

WARNING
Diesel fuel is highly flammable. Do not perform this procedure
near fire, flames, or sparks. Severe injury or death will result.
CAUTION
Cover or plug all open hoses and connections immediately after
disconnection to prevent contamination. Remove all plugs prior
to connection.
NOTE
Have drainage container ready to catch fuel.
1.
Disconnect pump-to-bulkhead fuel supply line (3) from connector (2).
2.
Remove clamp (5) and bulkhead hose (4) from pump-to-bulkhead fuel supply line (3).
NOTE
If vehicle is equipped with front arctic heater unit, cap will not be
installed on connector.
3.
Inspect connector (2), tee (1), connector (6), and cap (7) for damaged threads or cracks. Replace
if cracked or damaged.
