WARNING
Due to the increased weight of HEMTT with Tanker Armor Module installed, operator should
be aware of differences in vehicle’s driving characteristics and adjust driving accordingly.
Failure to follow this warning may cause an accident and injury or death to personnel.
WARNING
Due to the increased weight of rear doors, use extreme caution when opening and closing
doors. If vehicle is parked on non-level ground, door may swing in direction of slope. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury to personnel.
WARNING
When servicing this machine, performing maintenance, or disposing of materials such as
engine coolant, hydraulic fluid, lubricants, battery acids or batteries, and CARC paint, consult
your unit/local hazardous waste disposal center or safety office for local regulatory guidance.

WARNING
Fuels are highly explosive. Do not smoke or use open flame when performing PMCS. Failure
to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
WARNING
Solvent cleaning compound MIL-PRF-680 Type III is an environmentally compliant and low
toxic material. However, it may be irritating to the eyes and skin. Use protective gloves and
goggles. Use in well-ventilated areas. Keep away from open flames and other sources of
ignition. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
WARNING
Improper cleaning methods and use of unauthorized cleaning solvents may injure personnel
and damage equipment. Refer to TM 9-247,
Materials Used for Cleaning, Preserving,
Abrading, and Cementing Ordnance Materials and Related Materials Including Chemicals,
for correct information.
WARNING
Fire extinguishers should be placed nearby when using solvent cleaning compound. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death.
WARNING
Cloths or rags saturated with solvent cleaning compound must be disposed of in accordance
with authorized facilities’ procedures. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury.
