RTV sealant must now be applied around the threshold area

(1)

at the rear of the CBC.

To apply sealant around the threshold area, start at the left corner

of the CBC and inject sealant

(3)

under the area where the threshold

(1)

meets the mounting plate

(4)

. Fill the area sufficiently to create a

good weather seal.

Continue to apply a bead of sealant all along the edge of the threshold

(1)

at the point where it meets the

mounting plate

(4)

. Be sure to apply sealant around the hinge pivot pin area

(5)

. Continue around the right

corner

(6)

of the CBC and inject sealant under the right side of the threshold

(7)

as was done with the left

corner.
