PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES (PMCS)

There are some common items to check on the CBC and associated equipment. These include the
following:

Proper operation of the lifting/locking assemblies
±
Proper operation of the winch assembly
±
Proper operation of the personnel door
±
Ensure that the ventilation ports are clean and free of any debris
LUBRICATION SERVICE INTERVALS
Lubrication requirements for the CBC are outlined in WP 0007.
CLEANING
Proper cleaning of the CBC and components is an integral part of maintenance. It will help prevent
possible problems in the future, so make it a habit to clean the CBC inside and out whenever necessary.
Both the CBC interior and exterior can be cleaned with a rag dampened with soap and water.
