REMOVAL
NOTE
Steps 1 and 2 apply only if lubrication assembly needs replacement.
1.
Remove lubrication fitting (Figure 1, Item 6), adapter bushing (Figure 1, Item 7), outer pipe reducer
(Figure 1, Item 8), and inner pipe reducer (Figure 1, Item 12).
2.
Remove two elbows (Figure 1, Item 12) and hose (Figure 1, Item 13) from semitrailer frame
(Figure 1, Item 1).
3.
Remove two nuts (Figure 1, Item 5), bolts (Figure 1, Item 3), washers (Figure 1, Item 4), and springs
(Figure 1, Item 2) from semitrailer frame (Figure 1, Item 1).
4.
Remove two springs (Figure 1, Item 9) and latch handle bar (Figure 1, Item 10) from semitrailer frame
(Figure 1, Item 1).
END OF TASK
INSTALLATION
1.
Install latch handle bar (Figure 1, Item 10) and two springs (Figure 1, Item 9) on semitrailer frame
(Figure 1, Item 1).
2.
Install two springs (Figure 1, Item 2), washers (Figure 1, Item 4), bolts (Figure 1, Item 3), and nuts
(Figure 1, Item 5) on semitrailer frame (Figure 1, Item 1).
NOTE
Steps 3 and 4 apply only if lubrication assembly needs replacement.
3.
Install hose (Figure 1, Item 13) and two elbows (Figure 1, Item 12) on semitrailer frame (Figure 1, Item 1).
4.
Install outer pipe reducer (Figure 1, Item 8), inner pipe reducer (Figure 1, Item 11), adapter bushing
(Figure 1, Item 7), and lubrication fitting (Figure 1, Item 6).
5.
Lubricate per (WP 0093) and check for leaks.
