Lift out wear plate (15). (Refer to fig. 3-73.) Remove dowel pin (9, fig. 3-50) only if
damaged or needs replacement, by twisting and pulling with vice grip pliers.

Invert shaft/adapter assembly. Remove four capscrew (2, fig. 3-60) and lockwashers
