REMOVAL
WARNING
•
Always wear protective gloves when handling winch cable. Never let cable run through
hands. Frayed cables can cut severely. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or
death to personnel.
•
Never operate winch with less than five wraps of cable on winch drum. Failure to comply
may result in serious injury or death to personnel.
•
Do not move the CBT until the bridge bay has been fully loaded into the water from the
vehicle. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel.

Remove two cotter pins (Figure 1, Item 1) and retainer bar (Figure 1, Item 2) from handle assembly (Figure 1,
Item 3) and base assembly (Figure 1, Item 4). Discard cotter pins.
