Apply four to five wraps of teflon tape (3) over threads of pipe (2) where pipe sealant (1) was applied.

Apply pipe sealant (1) over threads of pipe (2) again, where teflon tape (3) was applied.

Install pipe (2) into elbow (4).

Screw pipe until completely tight and desired position is obtained.
