PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE:
Drain hydraulic reservoir
(page 3-74)
REMOVAL:
wARNING
FRH fluid may contain Tricresyl
Phosphate which may be absorbed
through
the
skin
and produces
paralysis if
taken
internally.
Appropriate
protective
measures
should
be
taken
to
avoid
such
exposures.
NOTE
Use rags to catch excess hydraulic fluid.
1.
Using wrench, remove cartridge (A)
from master relief valve (B).
2.
Remove preformed packing (C) from
cartridge (A).
Throw preformed
packing away.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Install new preformed packing (C)
2.
Using wrench, install cartridge (A)
on cartridge (A).
into master relief
3.
Refill hydraulic reservoir (LO 5-5420-202-12).
4.
Bleed hydraulic system (page 3-72).
5.
Check for hydraulic leaks and correct as necessary.

6.
Refill hydraulic reservoir (LO 5-5420-202-12).
7.
Adjust master relief valve (RV1) pressure (page 3-76).
