a. Disassembly

Remove window (1) by tapping side facing interior

of cap (2).

2 Remove all fragments of glass and scrape off all

adhesive material. Avoid enlarging opening.

Remove purging machine screw (3).

I b. Repair

1

Remove corrosion, grease, and dirt from all parts.

Refer to TM 9-254 for cleaning instructions.

2 Visually inspect for missing or damaged parts.

Repair or replace parts in accordance with author-

ized parts listed in appendix D.
