Proportions are in terms of ethylene-glycol per gallon and not pints of ethylene-
glycol added to each gallon of water. For example, at -30°F a gallon of coolant
contains two pints of ethylene-glycol and six pints of water (2 pints + 6 pints =
8 pints = 1 gallon).
