Remove air brake hose from truck. Refer to par a

13-41 .

Repair .

Repair of air brake hose is limited to replacemen t

of adapters and pipe to hose .

Slide coupling nut (1) with spring (2) back on hose (3) so sleeve (4) i s

uncovered .

2 .

Using hacksaw , saw off end of hose (3) just behind sleeve (4). Throw awa y

sleeve with piece of hose .

3 .

Take coupling nut (1) with spring (2) off of hose (3) and throw away nu t

and spring .
