If truck has power takeoff, do all steps. If truck doe s
not have power takeoff, do steps 1 through 5 only .

Push clevis assembly (1) into bac k
as it will go .
Put brake pedal lever (3) in clevi s
Put in clevis pin (4) .
Using pliers, put in cotter pin (5 )
of master cylinder assembly (2) as fa r
assembly (1) .
and bend open ends of cotter pin .
Using pliers, hook brake pedal return spring (6) in hole at end of clevi s
pin (4) .
Put power takeoff shift lever bracket (7) on master cylinder assembly (2 )
and aline holes .
Using 5/8-inch socket wrench , screw in and tighten two screws (8) .
