Assembly.

NOTE

If working on ball-type universal joint, do steps 1, 2, and 3.

If working on center cross-type universal joint, go to frame 3.

1.

Put pin (1) into hole in outer shaft (2).

2.

Holding outer shaft (2) up and down, place one of five drive balls (3) in socket of

outer shaft.

3.

Place inner shaft (4) against outer shaft (2) and put in two more drive balls (3).
