Untie shims (1) from bearing cage (2).

2.

Place bearing cage (2) and shims (1) on carrier case (3) and pinion

NOTE

Make sure that screws (5) and lockwashers (6) are tight-

ened a little at a time so bearing cage (2) is pulled on

evenly.
