Record amount of fuel accumulated in graduated beaker. High fuel flow rate should be 20 cc per

minute.

If flow rate is not within limits, turn adjusting screw (8) clockwise to lower flow rate or counter-

clockwise to raise flow rate. If flow rate is not obtainable, replace fuel control valve (16)

(para. 17-16).

Apply insulating varnish to adjusting screws (8), (9), and (10).

Connect lead (12) to fuel control valve (16).

Connect lead (18) to shunt resistor (19).

Remove fuel tubing (6) from fuel control valve outlet (7).

Install fuel tube (5) to fuel control valve outlet (7) and secure with nut (4).

Disconnect test equipment from heater assembly.

Install guard (1) on heater housing (3) with two dzus fasteners (2).
