Install fitting (4) on surge tank (3).

Connect hose (13) to fitting (4) and tighten clamp (12).

Connect hose (11) to surge tank (3).

FOLLOW-ON TASKS: • Install exhaust pipe (para. 3-50).

• Fill cooling system to proper level (para. 3-53).

• Start engine (TM 9-2320-272-10) and check for coolant leaks.
