Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Air reservoir drained (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Wheels chocked (TM 9-2320-272-10).
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not disconnect air lines before draining air
reservoirs.

WARNING
Do not disconnect air lines before draining air reservoirs. Small parts under
pressure may shoot out with high velocity, causing injury to personnel.
NOTE
Tag all air lines for installation.
Remove setscrew (13) and knob (14) from windshield wiper control (11).
Remove nut (1), lockwasher (2), and windshield wiper control (11) from instrument panel (4).
Discard lockwasher (2).
Remove clamp (10) and hose (12) from windshield wiper control (11).
Remove hose (9) and elbow (8) from windshield wiper control (11).
Remove clamp (6) and duct hose (5) from defrost duct (3). Pull duct hose (5) from firewall (7).
Disconnect hoses (17) and (31) from jets (18) and (15).
Remove wingnuts (19) and (33) and jets (18) and (15) from cab (32).
Remove hoses (17), (30), and (31) from tee (16).
Remove clamps (22) and (23) and hoses (12) and (30) from windshield wiper reservoir cap (24).
Remove windshield wiper reservoir cap (24) from windshield wiper reservoir (25).
Remove windshield wiper reservoir (25) from bracket (26).
Remove three locknuts (29), screws (27), and bracket (26) from mounting bracket (28). Discard
locknuts (29).
Remove grommets (20) and (21) and hoses (12) and (30) from firewall (7).
b. Installations
NOTE
Wrap all male threads with antiseize tape prior to installation.
1.
Install bracket (26) on mounting bracket (28) with three screws (27) and new locknuts (29).
2.
Install windshield wiper reservoir (25) on bracket (26).
3.
Install windshield wiper reservoir cap (24) on reservoir (25).
4.
Install hoses (12) and (30) on windshield wiper reservoir cap (24) with clamps (22) and (23).
5.
Insert hoses (12) and (30) through holes in firewall (7).
