Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
Air reservoir drained (TM 9-2320-272-101.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not disconnect air lines before draining air
reservoirs.

Do not disconnect air lines before draining air reservoirs. Small
parts under pressure may shoot out with high velocity, causing
injury to personnel.
CAUTION
Cap or plug all openings immediately after disconnecting lines or
hoses to prevent contamination. Failure to do so may result in
system damage or injury to personnel.
Remove locknut (10), screw (11), and wiper blade (12) from wiper arm (7). Discard locknut (10).
NOTE
Mark position of wiper arm for installation.
Remove nut (9), lockwasher (8), and wiper arm (7) from wiper motor shaft (1). Discard lockwasher (8).
Remove knurled drive (6) from wiper motor shaft (1).
Remove nut (5), washer (4), and leather washer (3) from wiper motor shaft (1). Discard leather
washer (3).
Remove hose clamps (14) and (17) and hoses (15) and (16) from adapter fittings (22) and (21).
Remove two locknuts (20), screws (18), wiper motor (13), and wiper motor bracket (19) from
windshield frame (2). Discard locknuts (20).
Remove two screws (25), bracket (19), and two spacers (24) from wiper motor (13).
Remove adapter fittings (21) and (22) from wiper motor (13).
Remove muffler (23) from wiper motor (13).
