EQUIPMENT CONDITION
MATERIALS/PARTS
Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-272-10).
Twelve locknuts (Appendix D, Item 276)
Twelve lockwashers (Appendix D, Item 400)
NOTE
Upper baffle consists of a seal and plate as one unit. Side baffles
consist of seals and plates as separate units.
1.
Remove four screws (12) and lockwashers (11) from upper radiator baffle seal and plate (3) and
brush guard (13). Discard lockwashers (11).
2.
Remove two screws (2), lockwashers (l), and upper radiator baffle seal and plate (3) from left and
right baffle plates (7). Discard lockwashers (1).
NOTE
Steps 3 and 4 apply to both left and right baffle seals and plates.
3.
Remove six locknuts (5), washers (6), screws (8), and baffle seal (4) from radiator baffle plate (7).
Discard locknuts (5).
4.
Remove three screws (9), lockwashers (10), and baflle plate (7) from brush guard (13). Discard
lockwashers (10).
NOTE
Steps 1 and 2 apply to both left and right baffle seals and plates.
1.
Install radiator baffle plate (7) on brush guard (13) with three new lockwashers (10) and screws (9).
2.
Install baffle seal (4) on baffle plate (7) with six screws (8), washers (6), and new locknuts (5).
3.
Install upper radiator baffle seal and plate (3) on left and right baffle plates (7) with two new
lockwashers (1) and screws (2).
4.
Install upper radiator baffle seal and plate (3) on brush guard (13) with four new lockwashers (11)
and screws (12).
