General mechanic’s tool kit (Appendix E, Item 1)

EQUIPMENT CONDITION

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

1.

Release hood latch (4).

NOTE

Assistant will help with step 2.

2.

Remove three screws (7), nuts (6), and hood latch (4) from hood cowl (5).

3.

Remove three screws (1) and upper latch retaining bracket (2) from hood (3).

1.

Install upper latch retaining bracket (2) on hood (3) with three screws (1).

NOTE

Assistant will help with step 2.

2.

Install hood latch (4) on cab cowl (5) with three screws (7) and nuts (6).

3.

Secure hood latch (4).
