EQUIPMENT CONDITION

MATERIALS/PARTS

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Four lockwashers (Appendix D. Item 371)

a. Removal

1.

Remove four screws (5) and lockwashers (6) from two brackets (7) and seat cushion (1). Discard

lockwashers (6).

2.

Remove two seat brackets (7) and washers (2) from seat frame pins (3).

3.

Remove seat cushion (1) from seat frame (4).

4.

Remove two screws (12) from adjuster rod brackets (13) and remove adjuster rod brackets (13).

5.

Remove two screws (11) and upper mounting brackets (10) from seat frame (4).

6.

Remove backrest cushion (8) and wear plate (9) from seat frame (4).

b. Installation

1.

Install wear plate. (9), backrest cushion (8), and two adjuster rod brackets (13) on seat frame (4)

with two screws (12).

2.

Install two upper mounting brackets (10) on seat frame (4) and backrest cushion (8) with two screws (11).

3.

Install two seat brackets (7) on seat cushion (1) with four new lockwashers (6) and screws (5).

4.

Position seat cushion (1) on seat frame (4).

5.

Install two seat brackets (7) and washers (2) on seat frame pins (3).
