Install lever switch bracket (2) on bracket assembly (5) with two washers (3) and screws (4). Do not

tighten screws (4).

Connect cable (7) to lead (6) of lever switch bracket (2).

Connect cable (8) to lead (10) of lever switch bracket (2) and route cable (8) through firewall (9).

NOTE

●

Instrument cluster may have to be removed for switch

installation (para. 3-83).

●

Ensure that toggle switch is in OFF position.

Install toggle switch (15) and plate (14) on instrument cluster (11) with washer (13) and nut (12).

Disconnect lead (17) from circuit breaker (19).

Connect lead assembly (18) to circuit breaker (19).

Connect cable (8) to wiring harness (21) with new tiedown strap (20).

Connect lead (17) to lead assembly (18).

Connect toggle switch leads (16) to cable (8) and lead assembly (18).

Install instrument cluster if necessary (11) (para. 3-83).
