Connect breather vent line (3) to transmission adapter elbow (2).

18.

Install transmission shift cable (19) and cable pin (20) on shift lever (22) with new cotter pin (21).

Install transmission shift cable (19) on support bracket (15) with shim (17), U-bolt (18), and two

new locknuts (16).

19.

Install bracket (7), new O-ring (9), and modulator (10) on transmission (1) with screw (8).

20.

Install bracket (5), and modulator cable (11) with clamp (14) and speedometer cable (12) with

clamp (14) on transmission (1) with screws (6) and (13) and nut (4).

NOTE

Step 21 applies only to vehicles equipped with a transmission

PTO.

Transmission connections listed in steps 21 through 24 can be

made through access door in cab floor.

21.

Install PTO cable (29) and cable pin (30) on select lever (31) with washer (32) and new cotter

pin (23), and PTO cable (29) on bracket (25) with spacer plate (26), retaining strap (27), two

screws (28), and nuts (24).

22.

Install transmission oil dipstick (37) in dipstick tube (36).

23.

Install wires (33) and (35) in two spring tension clips (34).

24.

Connect wire (33) to transmission oil temperature sending unit (38).
