GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
l
Fuel pump body must be thoroughly cleaned
before disconnecting any attaching components.
l
Do not disconnect air line before draining air
reservoirs.
l
Hearing protection must be worn when engine is
running.
1.
Disconnect lead (1) from fuel pressure transducer (11) and remove fuel pressure transducer (11)
from fuel pump (10).
2.
Disconnect fuel line (4) from fuel shutoff valve (6).
3.
Remove nut (8) and wires (7) from terminal (9).
4.
Loosen screw (2) and remove cable (5) from fuel shutoff lever (3).
5.
Remove locknut (14) and screw (20) and disconnect rod clevis ( 13) from pump throttle lever (12).
Discard locknut (14).
Discard locknut (14).
6.
Remove return spring (17) from modulator control link (16) and modulator cable clamp bracket (18).
Remove return spring (17) from modulator control link (16) and modulator cable clamp bracket (18).
7.
Remove locknut (22) and (15), screws (24) and (19), and rod clevis (23) from pump throttle lever (21).
Discard locknuts (22) and (15).
Discard locknuts (22) and (15).
