Place transmission selector assembly (1) in N (neutral) position.

Remove four screws (3), lockwashers (4), and transmission selector assembly (1) from console (2).

Discard lockwashers (4).

Disconnect transmission selector wires (5), (6), and (7) from three harness leads (8).

NOTE

Perform step 80 for M936 vehicles only.

Disconnect connector (9) from connector (10) and from floodlight switch (25) and auxiliary

receptacle (26).

Remove cap (17) from connector (22).

Remove nut (13), lockwasher (14), screw (19), and ground wire (15) from mounting bracket (21).

Discard lockwasher (14).

Remove nut (11), lockwasher (12), screw (18), and cap chain (16) from mounting bracket (21).

Discard lockwasher (12).

84.

Remove two nuts (24), lockwashers (23), screws (20), and connector (22) from three mounting

brackets (21). Discard lockwashers (23).
