EQUIPMENT CONDITION
MATERIALS/PARTS
Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
Two cotter pins (Appendix D, Item 60)
a. Removal
Remove two cotter pins (7), pins (2), and shift lever shift rod (4) from shift lever (1) and cross shaft
lever (6). Discard cotter pins (7).
b. Adjustment
1.
Loosen jamnut (3) on shift lever shift rod (4) and adjust clevis (8) until distance between centers of
holes in clevises (5) and (8) is 9-5/8 in. (24.4 cm).

Tighten jamnut (3).
c. Installation
Install shift lever shift rod (4) on shift lever (1) and cross shaft lever (6) with two pins (2) and new cotter
pins (7).
