EQUIPMENT CONDITION

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

NOTE

Tag all leads for installation.

Disconnect two switch leads (10) from connectors (11).

Remove grommet (8) and switch leads (10) from cab floor (9).

Remove two screws (7), lockwashers (6), clamps (5), and switch leads (10) from transfer case shift

lever (4). Discard lockwashers (6).

Remove four screws (3), lockwashers (2), and switch (1) from transfer case shift lever (4). Discard

lockwashers (2).

b. Installation

1.

Install switch (1) on transfer case shift lever (4) with four new lockwashers (2) and screws (3).

2.

Install two switch leads (10) on transfer case shift lever (4) with two clamps (5), new lockwashers (6),

and screws (7).

3.

Insert two switch leads (10) through cab floor (9) and connect to connectors (11).

4.

Install grommet (8) around switch leads (10) and install on cab floor (9).
