General mechanic’s tool kit (Appendix E, Item 1)

EQUIPMENT CONDITION

MATERIALS/PARTS

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Two locknuts (Appendix D, Item 313)

Lockwasher (Appendix D, Item 371)

NOTE

Assistant will help with step 1.

1.

Remove locknut (9), washer (10), transorb diode ground wire (8), locknut (11), ground wire (7),

lockwasher (12), cable clamp (6), and screw (5) from frame (4). Discard locknuts (9) and (11) and

lockwasher (12).

2.

Disconnect transorb diode wire (2) from front wiring harness connector (1) and remove transorb

diode (3) from frame (4).

b. Installation

1.

Connect transorb diode wire (2) and transorb diode (3) to front wiring harness connector (1) between

frame (4).

2.

Install cable clamp (6), new lockwasher (12), and ground wire (7) on frame (4) with screw (5) and

new locknut (11).

3.

Install transorb diode ground wire (8) on screw (5) with washer (10) and new locknut (9).
