Lower cargo body (12) onto frame (19) while using a drift pin to align two front upper holddown

brackets (2) to lower holddown brackets (3), and four intermediate holddown brackets (9) to lower

holddown brackets (10).

7.

Place four outer support springs (7) over inner support springs (4), and position under lower

holddown brackets (3), and install with four screws (1), washers (6), and locknuts (5). Tighten

locknuts (5) until length of springs (7) and (4) are 6.75 in. ±0.06 in. (171.45 mm ± 1.5 mm).

NOTE

Extra-long wheelbase models (M927/A1/A2, M928/A1/A2) utilize

six intermediate holddown brackets, twelve screws, and twelve

locknuts.

8.

Place four screws (8) through intermediate holddown brackets (9) and lower holddown brackets (10),

and install four new locknuts (11).

9.

Disconnect lifting device, utility chains, and guide lines from cargo body (12).

10.

Connect four wires (16) to connectors (17) on each of two composite lights (18).

11.

Install eight wire clamps (14) on cargo body (12) with eight screws (15) and locknuts (13).
