(5) Remove gasket and seal. Then extract the shift rod from the shift fork and housing
(fig. 8-15).

Replace oil seal using a suitable installation tool. When replacing seal (fig. 8-16), apply
retaining sealant tooutside diameter of seal and grease to inside diameter of seal.
