(5) Hoist or jack-up right-front side of vehicle high enough to a
under right side of vehicle (between battery box and front rear axle),
low installation of transmission
(6) position transmission under vehicle; then remove hoist or jack from vehicle.
(7) Level and line-up transmission on jack with guide pins in engine.
NOTE
Three men may be required to mate the
transmission to the engine. One man
directing the movement of the trans-
mission and observing the O-ring seal;
and two men positioning the jack,
(8) slowly move transmission jack in to mate transmission mounting holes on to guide pins
(fig. 2-15).
