TM 9-2320-279-10 Shut off engine.

TM 9-2320-279-10 Engine side panel removed.

Special Environmental Conditions

General Safety Instructions

None

a. Removal.

(1)

Loosen nut (1) on pivot screw (2) at

bottom of alternator (3).

(2)

Loosen adjustment screw (4) at top of

alternator (3).

(3)

Swing alternator (3) in toward engine (5)

and remove belts (6).

b. lnstallation.

Install belts (6) on alternator

pulley (7) and engine pulley (8).

c. Follow-on Maintenance.

(1)

Adjust alternator belts (para 6-14).

(2)

Install engine side panel

(TM 9-2320-279-10).
