a. Removal.

Remove cotter pin (1).

Remove nut (2).

Threads of socket stud may be damaged if not protected. Put nut part way on

stud.

Tap upward on bottom end of socket stud to disconnect drag link (3) at steering arm (4).

Remove nut (5), lockwasher (6),

and screw (7).

Spread slot in lower end of

pitman arm (8).

Disconnect drag link (3) from

pitman arm (8).

Remove two lubrication

fittings (9) from drag link (3).
