b. Installation
NOTE
Installation procedure is the same for
both wipers.
(1)
Install hose (1) in wiper arm (2).
(2)
Install wiper arm (2) with
lockwasher (3) and nut (4).
Tighten nut to 90 to 110 in-lb
(10.2 to 12.4 Nom).
(3)
Connect hose (1) to nipple (5).
(4)
Install nozzle (6) on hose (1).
(5)
Install wiper blade (7) and
nozzle (6) on wiper arm (2).
NOTE
Do not overtighten locknut. Tighten
locknut enough to allow for movement
of blade in bracket without excessive
play.
(6)
Install screw (8) and locknut (9).

Check operation of wiper arm (TM 9-2320-279-10).
