b. Installation.

Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors,
and are harmful to skin and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away from open fire
and use in well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or
clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.
NOTE
There are two kinds of wiper motors. Model A has two hoses on the right side.
Model B has hoses on the bottom. Both are removed the same way. If a Model A
motor must be replaced with a Model B motor, then the control valve must be
changed also. Refer to TM 9-2320-279-24P for proper identification of parts.
Air hoses for Model A may not be long enough for Model B. If hoses are not long
enough refer to Appendix F and TM 9-2320-279-24P for proper identification of
parts.

Coat threads of fittings (1)
with pipe thread sealing
compound and install fittings
in motor (2).
Position motor (2).
Connect air hoses (3 and 4) and
rubber hose (5) to motor (2).
