NOTE

•

Foam system agent percentage is preset for bumper turret and under truck nozzles and is

not adjustable.

•

The foam system will discharge class A foam at 0.5% at 200 to 210 psi (1,379 to

1,448 kPa).

At pressures lower than 200 psi (1,379 kPa), the foam concentrate will be

higher.

4.

Use pressure governor to adjust discharge pressure to desired pressure (WP 0017).

STOPPING FOAM SYSTEM OPERATION (CAB INSTRUMENT PANEL)

1.

Put FOAM SYSTEM switch (1) to off position.

Indicator light (2) will go out.

2.

Using pressure governor, decrease water pressure (WP 0017).

3.

Perform foam system flushing procedure (WP 0029).

FOAM SYSTEM DEACTIVATION/CLEAN-UP

1.

Set pressure governor to idle (WP 0017).

2.

Perform appropriate foam system flushing procedure (WP 0029).
