This procedure requires two personnel to complete.
Failure to comply may result in
injury to personnel.
CAUTION
Vehicle temperature needs to be at 50°F (10°C) before performing pump and blow
out procedures.
Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
This procedure is to be used when preparing the HEWATT for storage and shipment for
post operation in cold environment.

WARNING
Be sure to wear proper eye protection to prevent injury or death.
Ensure vehicle is
parked in a location where personnel and other equipment will be protected from
water spraying out of discharges and drains during draining and blow out
procedures.
Position vehicle so that it is level from side-to-side and either slightly
nose down or level front-to-back.
Failure to comply may cause damage to
equipment and/or injury to personnel.
CAUTION
If you are unable to follow this procedure due to inability to build up proper air
pressure, do not leave vehicle in an environment that will expose it to temperatures
of 32°F (0°C) or less.
Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
Damage to water pump may result if Post Operation Procedures (WP 0030) are not
completed before performing Pump and Blow Out Procedures.
2.
Position vehicle on a level surface or slightly tilted forward and in a suitable location to drain and spray out
remaining water.
3.
Apply parking brake (TM 9-2320-422-10).
4.
Drain water tank (WP 0015).
