CAUTION

NOTE
Hydraulic oil must be over 125° F (52°C) before performing Step (1).
Hydraulic oil
temperature may be observed at either cab pressure governor control or pump operator’s
panel pressure governor control (WP 0017).

Step 1.
Push battery disconnect switch to on position (WP 0007).
Start Engine
(TM 9-2320-422-10).
Put PUMP PTO switch to on position (WP 0004).
Put cab TANK
TO PUMP switch to on position (WP 0004).
Enable pressure governor
control (WP 0017). Allow hydraulic system to warm to 125° F (52°C) or greater.
Turn
Engine Off (TM 9-2320-422-10).
Remove pump house panel H (WP 0339).
While an
assistant observes Hyd Oil Temp segment of pressure governor control, ensuring that
hydraulic oil temperature is 125° F (52°C) or greater, check if fan 1 operates.

If fan 1 does not operate, go to Step 3.

Step 2.
While an assistant observes Hyd Oil Temp segment of cab or pump operator’s panel
pressure governor control, ensuring that hydraulic oil temperature is 125°F (52°C) or
greater, check if fan 2 operates.

If fan 2 operates, go to Step 4.

b.
If fan 2 does not operate, go to Step 16.

Step 3.
While an assistant observes Hyd Oil Temp segment of cab or pump operator’s panel
pressure governor control, ensuring that hydraulic oil temperature is 125°F (52°C) or
greater, check if fan 2 operates.

If fan 2 operates, go to Step 10.

b.
If fan 2 does not operate, go to Step 5.
