FIELD LEVEL MAINTENANCE

FOAM SYSTEM STRAINER(S) REPLACEMENT

INITIAL SETUP:

FOAM SYSTEM SUPPLY STRAINER REMOVAL

NOTE

Foam system supply strainer is removed as an assembly with foam service valve.

1.

Remove two couplings (1) and (2) from vehicle (WP 0313).

2.

Remove two locknuts (3), U-bolt (4), strainer (5), and foam service valve (6) from bracket (7).

Discard

locknuts.

3.

Remove strainer (5) from nipple (8).

NOTE

Note position of weldment prior to removal to ensure proper installation.

4.

Remove weldment (9) from strainer (5).

5.

Remove cap (10) from strainer (5).
