NOTE

•

Support bracket holding inlet and discharge pipes must be removed with valve assembly

to permit clearance for discharge valve replacement.

•

Pipe and valve are replaced as an assembly.

Disconnect electric motor connector (4) from electric motor harness connector (5).

Remove two locknuts (6), U-bolt (7), and cradle (8) from bracket (9) and pipe (10).

Discard locknuts.

5.

With the aid of an assistant, support pipe (11) and remove two nuts (12), lockwashers (13), four washers (14),

and two screws (15) from brackets (9) and channel bracket (16).

Discard lockwasher.

6.

With the aid of an assistant, remove pipe (11) and bracket (9) from vehicle.
