CAUTION

Rotor vane housing needs to be flipped 180 degrees in order for the steering pump

to operate correctly.

Failure to comply will not allow steering pump to operate

correctly.

Remove rotor vane housing (3) and preformed packing (8) from steering pump body (4).

Discard preformed

packing.

Lightly lubricate preformed packing (8) with clean oil, and install preformed packing (8) on steering pump

body (4).

5.

Flip rotor vane housing (3) 180 degrees and position rotor vane housing (3) on two alignment pins (9),

preformed packing (8), and steering pump body (4).
