Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful

vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing.

To avoid injury or death, keep away

from open fire and use in well-ventilated area.

If adhesive, solvent, or sealing

compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

CAUTION

Correct gasket must be used when installing adapter on engine.

Failure to comply

will result in damage to equipment.

NOTE

•

A 1/32 in. gasket (P/N 1447647) must be installed on HEWATTs prior to serial

number 106926, unless engine is being replaced.

•

A 3/32 in. gasket (P/N 2050631) must be installed on HEWATTs with serial

number 106926, serial number 106928 and above.

1.

Apply silicone adhesive sealant on both sides of gasket (7) and install gasket (7) and adapter (3) on engine (4)

with four lockwashers (6) and screws (5).

2.

Install lockwasher (2) and screw (1) on adapter (3) and engine (4).
