Never operate winch with less than five wraps of cable on winch
drum. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE

With aid of an assistant, pay out heavy-duty winch cable (10) (WP 0037) and connect
to lifting eye (11) of semitrailer.

10. Perform the following for a M870 semitrailer:
a.
Remove two safety clips (12), safety locking pins (13), nuts (14), and screws (15)
from lockpins (16).
