Remove two lockpins (16), one from each side of semitrailer gooseneck (17).

Install two safety screws (15), nuts (14), safety locking pins (13), and safety clips
(12) in lockpins (16) to prevent loss.
NOTE

If semitrailer is M870, skip to Step (12).

If semitrailer is M870A1, continue with Step (11).
