Unloading the BAP without disengaging hold-down locks may result

A site survey must be conducted to ensure the site meets the criteria cited in the warning
above.
OPERATION
1.
Check transfer site for 22 ft. (6.7 m) overhead clearance, ground firmness, and level
within one percent slope in all directions.
2.
Align rear of vehicle with the BAP. Stop approximately 5 ft. (1.5 m) from the BAP.
NOTE
Dashboard parking brake indicator will illuminate when PARKING
BRAKE control is applied.
3.
Pull out PARKING BRAKE control (1) or apply service brake pedal (2).
