1. Remove four upper pins (11) from cab protector (4) and tubes (10).

2. Secure chain sling (1) to cab protector (4) and lifting device (2).

WARNING

Personnel must stand clear during lifting operations. A swinging or

shifting load may result in injury to personnel.

NOTE

Assistant will help with step 3.

3. Remove cab protector (4) from four tubes (10) with lifting device (2) and lower cab protector (4) to

ground. Remove chain sling (1) from cab protector (4).

4. Remove four wingnuts (16), screws (15), hoses (12), two straps (13), and four washers (14) from cab

protector (4).

5. Remove four nuts (9), lockwashers (8), screws (7), and two straps (6) from chock block holder (5).

Discard lockwashers (8).

6. Inspect saddle webbing (3) for tears, rips, or missing sections. If damaged, remove from cab

protector (4). Scrape remains of saddle webbing (3) and sealer from cab protector (4).
