If checks and measurements obtained in steps 9 through 12 are correct, perform steps

Install bearing retainer (15) on intermediate case (2) with six new lockwashers

and screws (13).
15. Install new gasket (19) and inspection plate (16) on boring case (5) with eight new lockwashers (18)
and screws (17).
