6-7. COOLANT BYPASS TUBE REPLACEMENT (CONT)

CAUTION

Clamp tongue must be started in clamp

groove.

Failure to comply may result in

damage to equipment.

(5) Position two clamps (4) on coolant hose (9).

(6) Position two clamps (5) on coolant hose (10).

(7) Position coolant hose (9) on thermostat housing (11).

(8) Position coolant bypass tube (2) in coolant hose (9).

(9) Engage as many clamp tabs (7) as possible in tab

windows (8) allowing little or no play between two

clamps (4) and coolant hose (9).
